Late Night Gardening

It was 8:00 at night and Jim and I got in a crazy
mood to garden!  So, we headed to the garden section
and picked out all sorts of random plants.  You can tell
that we haven't done a ton of gardening because of this
random selection, and because if you live in Central
Oregon, you know that the golden rule is that if there's
still snow on Black Butte, you shouldn't plant yet.  My
grandpa, expert gardener that he is, would be
ashamed of me, but I just couldn't help it.
So, needless to say, we will most likely be replanting
this particular garden but it was still fun!

First things first, it was cold so Jim
built us a nice fire on our back deck!

We planted everything in pots, so we can move
them inside if we need to (which we most
likely will)
Our selection includes tomatoes, sweet peas, rosemary,
cilantro, sweet onions and strawberries. We also
have a flower garden yet to be planted! Tulips, daffodils,
lilies and more!

Even if it amounts to little or no results, it was fun!

Heard you are on bed-rest....praying for a peaceful delivery, however it works out.

Sounds fun! I didn't know you were on bed-rest, so sorry to hear that, but I hope you are doing as well as possible. I am sure you are excited to meet these little girls :)
