Part 2: Disney and Beach!!

I wanted to post periodically so that I don't post a

thousand pictures at the end of the trip, so bear with

me guys. Yesterday, we hit up Disney's Magic Kingdom

which was mostly supposed to be for Jadyn but I think I loved

it more than anyone:)

A little out of order, but this was after the long day of

waiting in lines and sweating profusely. We needed our

ice cream!

Today we went to the beach! It was so much fun....really hot but the

ocean was wonderfully refreshing. We saw a little sea turtle while

we were swimming....it was awesome!!

We might have gotten a bit of sun today! It's a little

different from the Oregon sun we're used to.

On the ride home, they stuffed me in the trunk!

We had a car packed full of people and it was my turn:)

We ended the night with dinner at Macaroni Grill but Jadyn

didn't quite make it to the table before falling asleep!

Florida Part 1

Well we made it to Florida after a long day of traveling!!

We look alike down to our ridiculously cheesy expressions!
Our flight from LA to Orlando was overbooked by 20 people
so we decided to give up our seats for a free roundtrip ticket
anywhere in the US and all we had to do was wait an extra
hour for the next flight and it was first class!!!

Jadyn was the best traveller ever!! After 15 hours, she was

still the happiest girl ever because she had her Ariel bag.

First class is amazing, and we totally didn't belong!! Look at

how dorky we are!
We got spoiled with all sorts of treats the whole flight!

And it was all worth the long flight because we got to see this guy!!

Happy 2 Years to Us!!!!

Today marks our 2 year anniversary!!!!

The only sad thing is that we're not together:(

But, it was an amazing anniversary, thanks to my wondefully

thoughtful husband. We were talking on the phone and he

told me to look up this song and download it and listen to it.
It was a really sweet song about him wishing he were with me

and he had me unplug my laptop and keep listening while

I walked outside.

After a tiny amount of confusion, I was greeted with this......

He had the whole thing set up and his mom, grandma and aunt

delivered them onto my doorstep. Inside my beautiful bouquet

of flowers, I found an even bigger surprise......

Update

Time for a little life update.....

Jim has been gone a little over a week and so far

is doing really well with all of his training. He hates the

humidity in Georgia and it's only going to get worse since

he'll be there until July.

I have been spending 90% of my time with my crazy

but awesome sister Kelsi!!!! She's been keeping me busy

whether it be with staring contests....comparing our big hair
standing by while she eats my face.....

or going to the river on this awesome beautiful day....94

degrees in Redmond today!!!

We are also in the process of training for a half marathon.
We ran 6 miles tonight, and 13 really sounds like a lot

after that!

In other news, my little brother got engaged last weekend

to his beautiful girlfriend, Michelle! She will be the greatest

addition to the family.

This was the crew that went up to surprise her....we went for

a hike in the woods at my aunt's cabin and hid all of our cars.

As soon as she said yes, Colton rang the dinner bell (an old train bell)

and we came running out of the woods.....pretty funny!

She was so surprised.

As for the cafe, it couldn't be better. For those of you

who haven't been yet, you need to come by. It's my little

happy place!!

Today marked the official send off.

We had a mobilization ceremony in Eugene

to send off the 41st brigade to Iraq.

The governor gave a really weird speech

about the swine flu and hand sanitizer, but

otherwise it was a nice ceremony.

Now he's home for a few days leave and then gone for good:(

I wanted to let you all know that it would be awesome if

everyone got together and sent stuff to Jim when he's deployed.

If you're interested, I will put together a list and hook everyone

up with his info once he's out of country. He would love

to hear from all of you. They say care packages are what keep

the troops going every day so let me know if you want a part in it.

Missing Jim

So it's been a week and a half since I've seen

the husband...I've got a lot of long weeks ahead of me :(

I wanted to post a 'Missing Jim' page and started looking through

my pictures to find some good ones of him, when

I stumbled upon a certain trend with Jim pictures.

He likes making double chin faces in ALL of his pictures

I love my husband and can't wait for him to come

home and pose for more awesome pictures!

Going Away Pictures

Last week, Jim and I took some pictures with Colton's

girlfriend Michelle. Our Christmas present was a photo

shoot before Jim left, and I'm so excited.
