Address

This is my new address. Please write LARGE and clear. Everything needs to be exactly as you see it here or it may not get to me. And I really do mean as large as you can. As stated below, I have had a craving for Spicy V8 and I have been doing a little working out so protein is always good. Kristy, if you have any One Apple downs left over I could eat those for you. Honestly just anything that anyone wants to send would be awesome. I really appreciated everything in Georgia. You guys are all great friends and family and I am very lucky to have so much support. If you didn't see, there is a small post below that explains a little bit about my current situation. I am safe, happy, and being treated well, and will be happy to see all of you again soon.

Love Jim

PS(This is not me asking for things as much as giving ideas for those of you who have asked. Please do not feel like you have to send anything. However, it does make me look cool to get lots of big boxes. Just kidding. )

UPDATE

So this is Jim and I am now in Iraq. I am in my little room and pretty much settled in. There are a couple gyms, a few different places to eat, and a couple stores to buy random things at. Right now everyone is trying to find mini refrigerators, TV's, microwaves, and other stuff for their rooms. The unit that just left from Texas has a lot of stuff that they are getting rid of, so you have to be fast. I have someone out looking for a fridge for me right now actually. I am at Camp Adder in the southern part of Iraq. It is part of Tallil Air Force Base. We are south of Baghdad, and west of Basra. It is rather warm here. When we got here yesterday we decided to go eat. Bad idea. By the time we got there we were covered in sweat. Pretty lame for just going to eat. Anyway, I just thought I would try to fill anyone in that was interested. I will try to get some pictures up, but you can't just go snappin pictures willy nilly here. You can only take pictures of certain things. I will put the address on here within a couple days and then everyone can send me Spicy V8 and Whey Protein. :-)

Thanks all, and I will try to stay current.

Go One Street Down!!!!

It seems like it's been a while since I posted about the cafe
and seeing as how it has been my life for the past 9 months,
I thought I'd write a few words. It has been RIDICULOUSLY
busy!! God has truly blessed us with this place and we're
so thankful!
Today, we had a record breaking day and it seems like
that just keeps happening! I have never felt so tired at the
end of a shift. 10 hours of pure craziness today!

At the beginning, we were just a little place that no one
had heard of and now I have people running into me and
recommending my own place as an amazing place that I have to try!!

Hope to see you all in some day!

My baby made it safely

Just to keep everyone in the loop, Jim made it safely to Kuwait, where he will
be for the next couple weeks before he's sent north to Iraq.
Sounds like it's ridiculously hot, but otherwise good.
I will try to keep you guys updated on all the happenings!

A Savannah getaway

I officially love Savannah Georgia!!!
Such a beautiful, historic city and
perfect for a romantic rendezvous for
me and Jim before he ships off!
They have tons of these beautiful parks throughout the entire city

Here we are in one of those parks, although it's hard to tell in the dark

We picked the perfect time to be in a southern city.....the 4th
of July is done right in the south.
We walked down on the waterfront, where they had an awesome
fireworks display
We have a lot of pictures like this....we were pretty happy to
see each other!

Smooch in the park!

Another park shot:)

My friend Molly is married to one of the army guys and we
got to travel together.

Despite the beautiful city, the weather was
miserable, much like Florida a couple weeks ago!

It wouldn't be Georgia without a red white and blue riverboat!

One GIANT daquiri please!

Jim's official send off ceremony in the 100 degree weather!

Alex and Molly at the ceremony

Oh yeah, we got matching couple shirts:)

So the general gist of this blog is....I love my husband!
I loved every second I got to spend with him
and now he's gone but we have 2 months down!

Miss you Jim......again
